2nd Meeting of the Biomass Transboundary Network
May 4th | 9h30Escola Superior Agrária de Ponte de Lima Registration
Presentation

The remains of forest pruning, shrubs and vines are still undervalued raw materials, despite being abundant in the northern Euroregion of Portugal-Galicia and having an enormous energy and economic potential. To realize this potential and establish connections between specialists and stakeholders involved in the production and use of biomass, the Biomass Transfrontier Network was created, which today has more than 130 members.
At this meeting, we invite all members of the network and any interested party to come and discuss the main barriers and opportunities for investments in biomass, and to share new project ideas and possible solutions that promote the valorization of biomass. The event is aimed at anyone who works directly or indirectly in the biomass value chain, whether they are farmers, researchers, specialized technicians or final consumers.
Anyone interested in receiving information about future events and meetings can subscribe to the Network by contacting biomasap@feuga.es.
