INEGI's governing bodies meet and approved the 2022 Annual Report
28 March 2023INEGI's General Assembly met today, March 28th, and unanimously approved the 2022 Annual Report, as well as the Activities and Budget Plan for 2023.
Alcibíades Paulo Guedes, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that "INEGI's performance in 2022 was very positive. We were able to combine strong growth and investment with economic and financial sustainability. We were able to reinforce skills and capabilities, attract and retain more talent, and close a cycle of investment in our infrastructures and laboratories. We have fully achieved the revised objectives and budget for 2022”.
Among the highlights of the year is the 16% growth compared to 2020, with turnover reaching 14.1 MEUR. Also noteworthy is the participation in 23 mobilizing agendas in the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) and the excellent results in terms of attracting European projects in the various programs of Horizonte Europa.
Among the milestones of 2022 was also the conclusion of the investment in the expansion of the facilities and the re-equipment of the laboratories, along with the renewal of the recognition as CTI - Technology and Innovation Center and the start of the new multi-annual Base Funding cycle for the triennium 2022-2025.
